Derby week is more than two minutes on Saturday. Thunder Over Louisville opens the Kentucky Derby Festival in April, then Thurby, the Kentucky Oaks and the Derby fill Churchill Downs on Thursday, Friday and the first Saturday in May, with galas, brunches and bourbon in between. Traffic around the track is slow, parking is scarce and the dress code is serious, which is exactly why our Derby clients book a car instead of a rideshare.

Daily rentals run from $400 for the Cadillac Escalade ESV to $1,500 for the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder, plus tax, with 100 miles included per day. Chauffeured race-day service and Sprinter group transport are quoted per event, and multi-day Derby packages are available. Derby week rates and availability are confirmed in writing when you book.

Kentucky Derby Week questions
When is Derby week?
The Kentucky Derby runs on the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs, with the Kentucky Oaks on Friday and Thurby on Thursday. The Kentucky Derby Festival starts weeks earlier with Thunder Over Louisville, so Derby bookings stretch across late April and early May.
Can you drive us to Churchill Downs on Derby day?
Yes. Chauffeured black car service in the Rolls-Royce Ghost or Cadillac Escalade ESV, and group transport in the Mercedes Sprinter, are available for Thurby, the Oaks and the Derby. We time pickups around the gates and your schedule and handle the traffic around the track.
Do you pick up at the airport during Derby week?
Yes. We meet arriving guests at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) and can arrange rides for the whole stay, from hotel transfers to race day and the parties in between.
Can I rent a Lamborghini for the whole Derby week?
Yes. Multi-day rentals are available for every vehicle in the fleet, with 100 miles included per day and extra mileage available. Week-long Derby rentals are confirmed on a first come, first served basis, so book early.
